Liking the look of this Jets team, except Goaltending isn't great, but it's okay. Oh, and Stanley the Pylon needs to be shipped out for a new bag of pucks.

LOVING Schneider and Sanheim as the 2nd pairing. Hate losing Sanberg, but getting couple of top CDN defenders from MB and SK is HUGE for WPG.

Way way way waaaaaay too much for Hellebuyck.
Holtz alone would be an overpayment to say nothing of adding Schmid and Yegor on top of that.

Either…

(1) Hellebuyck is coming in sign-and-trade at team-friendly AAV; or

(2) Way too many people think NJD’s window is closing, so they should those the future away in one-and-done rentals.

You won't want to get those players from NYR... because if you ask for those, there will be 3 players NYR will insist on getting back that will be non-negotiable.

1) Perfetti
2) SaIomonsson
3) Lucius/Lambert

Without those 3, you do not get Chytil and Schneider. The problem with NYR and WPG is WPG is heading toward a retool, and NYR won't give up a current roster player for a WPG castoff (Scheifele, PLD, etc.). It'll take a substitute roster player, and prospects. Perfetti semi-replaces Chytil (have my doubts about Perfetti's ability at center, Chytil already proved he has 2c potential), Salomonsson likely needs a year or two at the AHL level before replacing Schneider (NYR have Jones/Robertson to shift over in the meantime). Lucius/Lambert = the lesser position for Perfetti (wing vs center) and the delay for Salomonsson (1-2 years) plus NYR would need a massive overpay from the start to get rid of Schneider & Chytil.
