Wow. Figured they might bury Yams and trade Klim for something. Yams was always worthless in my mind with that contract. Kostin is a great pickup.

he wanted too much. EDM couldn't afford him.

IT was better than giving up a draft pick to dump Yams salary

You always need more centers in the system. And if they all develop and down the road you have a log jam, you shift someone to wing or trade a guy at a premium position for whatever you need then.

You can’t have too many centers. They can always move to wing
