Description
Disappointed with the lack of trades after last night... trying to be realistic with what we can expect to get as the draft continues. All these (except Tanev and Zadorov) assume extensions are in place for the receiving team.

Parayko has been linked to Flames (and other teams) per Pagnotta, Flames have clearly been targeting Duclair and I think Hanifin is the right chip the other way for both teams.

Drury/Phillips are interchangeable... still hoping we can get the hometown kid back on a 1-way contract to see what he's made of. Not sure of 1C potential, but Lundell or Dube could slot in on that line also, putting Philly on the "speedy 4th line". Then worse case, Zary could also get a shot and we have Honzek in the pipeline now.

Lol Leafs pass, that doesn't get you anywhere near Liljegren. Leafs can probably get Zadorov for free from the Flames

I will say trading Parayko makes little sense for the blues. The only reason we wanted Sanheim was to pair him with Parayko. We trade Parayko and we have a huge hole in our defense and now we have to replace him. Also Backlund isn't really a need for since we got Hayes and have a full top 9. Granted he's a way better player than Hayes and couple others but it doesn't make sense to acquire him.

Canes pass. Lindholm is overrated so badly and he's a rental. Both of those things the Canes tend to stay away from

Don't have a problem with that. Would be willing to offer up 2024 1st + 2nd, Teuvo, and either Drury or a good D prospect not named Morrow or Nikishin. Would take my chances on an extension, but don't imagine this would happen without a plan in place.

Leafs say no. Zadorov would be nice, but more as a partner for Liljegren tbh.

Leafs don't need Vlader. Samsonov and Woll will be our tandem next season

I think that Tanev to Ottawa trade is pretty cool but, as a Sens fan, the top 4 is set and we're running into cap issues as it is. Sens need to use what cap space they have on forwards
