Much better this offseason opposed to last, thought he fumbled the Burns trade and should've got more, especially looking at his year.

This year though the draft was pretty good, only questionable pick was in the 3rd round with a reach.

The Duclair trade was great and sending him off at the TDL should bring back a decent asset.

Nikishin is an untouchable asset for the Canes. And frankly, I think Sharks fans should temper their expectations of a return. EK is almost certainly never going to repeat the season he just had, and no team is likely dumb enough to, in effect, reverse the original EK trade, especially with how much retention would be needed to even facilitate a trade.

not that I owe anyone the description I forgot "I know the return from Carolina is unreasonable I just want to dream until tomorrow when we get robbed blind."

My personal thoughts on this are if we retain to 8-7.75 or less we should expect a reasonable return because EK could have easily gotten roughly $8x4y on the market
