Wish the Jets had given this guy a long-term deal like Samuelsson got in Buffalo. But happy with this bridge deal

Bingo! Had him at $1.4m/2years. Although I wish they went long term, Samberg is smart to take a bridge. He’s only going to get better!

This is VERY low risk. If he doesn't improve at all, then it isn't a major over pay. Hell, you can put him in the minors and save nearly $400,000. If he does improve a lot, he's still an RFA, granted, with Arbitration.
