-Boston would pass on this, I would think. Maybe there's a Lysell+ for Scheifele retained deal out there, but Swayman is a guy they can easily sign to a cheaper 2 year deal with the promise that he gets paid when the cap goes up & Ullmark is off the books. Ullmark doesn't look like he's gonna be a 60-65 game guy, so having a good 1B for 30-35 games like Swayman is important, and there's nothing that close in the Bruins system IMO.
-Feels like an insane overpay here - a clear-cut #1 goalie & a strong prospect for a middle-6 forward and a 1B/1C type goalie in UPL? Feels like you can do better for Helle if you're going to shop him.
-Zero idea why Carolina does this. Necas broke out this past year and is basically what you hope Perfetti turns into, and I can't see a team with Jaccob Slavin, Dmitry Orlov, and Brady Skjei already under contract rushing out to get Brenden Dillon.
-Sure, whatever, I guess someone will give a lottery ticket for Logan Stanley if you don't want him.
-Gotta think TML would want more for Timmy. Moving his $1.4M doesn't alleviate their cap problems, so either you're making this deal and taking a bad contract back, or you're adding a pretty big piece. A 2nd alone doesn't do it.
-Easy no from Arizona. Pionk is old enough to be outside whatever timeline they're working with, and is also owed $7.5M this season and $6M next year on his $5.875M cap hit - the type of deal the Coyotes don't normally take on. Lastly, Pionk has a 6 team NTC and I'd be surprised if Arizona wasn't one of those 6.
