All that these moves accomplish is makes the Hawks a little better but likely still not even a playoff team while gving away 3 1st round picks needed to build the talent base up so the Hawks can actually become a playoff team. If the Hawks wanted Zadina....they could have claimed him off waiver last week and assumed his prior contract for nearly HALF what you are giving him here....he had 2 years at 1.85 left that ANY team in the league could have assumed for nothing. Dunn is not worth 6.5 per much less paying a lottery 1st, high 2nd and a 3rd on top of that. You could take the 1st out of the Gibson trade and I still hard decline. Gibson is closer to a cap dump with his contract than he is an asset commanding a 1st to acquire. K'Andre is not a late 1st to acquire (as in no chance the NYR do that) and I would rather see if we can develop one of our handful of 1st/2nd round LHD prospects into similar.

Patience grasshopper....this Summer is not the time to blow through draft picks to acquire players most of which you'll regret quickly.

NYR reject that ridiculous offer. Add in Kevin Korchinsk and you may grab their attention.

Miller would cost much more, but every team should be interested at that price tag. Pass on Gibson, ill roll the dice seeing if Soderblum decent, besides hawks wont be good during Gibson's contract and he wants to be moved to a contender.

Offer-sheeting Vince Dunn when that could be the first overall pick in next summer's draft would be a very risky move. VERY risky.

Since that first alone isn't nearly enough to land K'Andre Miller, wouldn't it be better to use IT to trade for Vince Dunn?

CHI does not do that offer sheet. Anything more than $4.29M should be a no go. They aren't giving up their 2024 1st for any reason. Not even Dunn.
