Description

Let me just say that i don't think that Josh Anderson is worth this much. I just think that gms sometimes overpay for mediocre players. Josh Anderson is a big and fast 20-25 goal scorer and so many gms, in desperation, might overbid on him.
We got a first, a third, and a prospect for Chiarot. Buff got a first, second, and d for Risto. Rangers gave up so much for rentals of Copp and Tarasenko. If rumours that Hughes rejected a first for Anderson are true then this isn't far fetched.

Rangers wouldnt take Anderson in return. If anything it would be MTL taking Goodrow and Laffy as a payment, NYR then resigns Tarasenko at a low values until Panarins contract expires or minus 1 year.
so it would be either be a singular high value pick going to NYR or couple of B prospects + low pick.

but hey, who knows.

Rangers wouldn't take Anderson if you were giving him to us for free. This deal is laughable.

Dude look at how the market is like for high-salary players right now with the flat cap. Predators had to retain half of Johanssen's salary to ship him away for free, Yamamoto got shipped for no value, Rielly Smith only got a return of a 3rd rounder, Kevin Hayes half retained only got a 6th rounder. Anderson is making 5.5m and isn't even scoring above half a point per game, why would he have value in this kind of market?

Great, doesn't stop people from reporting that Hughes has received offers for him. Believe me, if the reports are true that Hughes turned down a 1st for him I'll be as upset as the next guy but until professionals stop reporting that teams are asking for Anderson I won't admit he is a cap dump
