Maybe I'm totally off on the value of Frederic but that deal looks pretty awful from the Pens perspective

CHI probably does this for a 3rd, and honestly I think you're too hard on your lineup. If Bergeron plays the lineup is about as good as it was last season.

I actually think depth is one of the strengths of the bruins current lineup. Theres guys in the AHL who probably are ready for a promotion and plenty of vets to fill in the empty spots. i think the weakness would be more in the idea that they have a lot of guys who could be slotted as middle 6/bottom 6 guys rather than sure fire top 6 guys. But maybe someone takes a step and surprises.

I don't think Forbort and especially Gryz are negative assets. Not saying you will get a whole lot for either guy but to say they're both negative assets feels like a stretch.

I counted out Boston last season. I'm not falling for that again. LOL

you aren't off. No way penguins make this trade lol. In this trade the penguins are giving up the player that is younger, has more upside, and is already under contract... AND also giving up a high pick. Then OP even puts POJ in his top 4. showing the value POJ already has.
Put the pick on the other side of the trade then you may have the framework for a fair deal

Caps pass. That does nothing for them.

Arizona trade is the only deal I would expect the GM to consider. Other three are rejected immediately.

These trades are abysmal for BOS. They are a better team without these moves.
