Seven of his eleven goals came in March and April because the coaching staff and his teammates were hounding him to shoot. Haha So he CAN shoot, he just looks to pass. Unreal playmaker though. Excited to see him this year.

He should have been a Calder finalist (top 3) and IMO should have have beaten Beniers. He averaged more points than any other rookie on an inferior team. He wasn’t the sexy or marketable pick so the NHL could not let that happen.

It's a fair deal, the thing is whether he plateaus or not. He reminds me a lot of Alex Kerfoot who never came close to his first year of shooting percentage but is still a "decent" middle 6 forward but undersized and not everyone can pay $3.5 million for a 3rd line LW for too long. Especially now that the Yotes actually have Kerfoot on their roster it will be interesting to follow them and his progress. Macelli made a good linemate for Crouse (actually a perfect fit as Crouse plays the "inside" game and Macelli the "outside". If they can get Hayton or Bjugstad as a consistent center should be telling as to what his expectations will look like next year.

I think this is a slam dunk contract for the Coyotes. They get a very good young player for 3 years at an extremely reasonable amount AND he expires as an RFA. Fantastic work by the Coyotes, Maccelli is going to be a staple. Love this

Finns don’t draw media pressure so it’s easier to disregard them. Barkov probably should have more Selkes by now and If he was north American he probably would.

He should have runners up (don't know if he does) but bergeron's domination of the post Datsyuk years is real
