Actually, I really thought the leafs would be like a fit since he’s someone leafs fans seem to like trading for. (Though looking at their lineup, I don’t see it either).

I kind of want to see a kings line, perfetti between Connor and scheifele, and Namestnikov between neidreiter and ehlers, leaving Lowry between barron and Appleton.

When did a guy who barely played become worth a 3rd

Be lucky to get a 7th for that guy as hes not really good

Hes just big and okay in sheltered mins. Probs will be on waivers by the season start.

Barring injuries (and Bones stupidity) the Jets second PP unit should be much better this season then in recent seasons, an issue that hasn't been discussed much the last few seasons was how useless the 2nd PP has been.

Obviously losing Little really affected PP#2 but Maurice, papa Lowry and Bones player usage hasn't helped it any since either. Hopefully with some health and better options both PP groups will be better and underperformers won't be seeing time on the man advantage.

I saw a tweet about Bryan Little a week or so ago. He won his age category in an ironman triathlon. Little finished first by over five minutes, with #2 through 4 finishing within one minute of each other.

I have my doubts at Perfetti as a centre, but maybe he bulks up and finds some speed in the offseason.

Ya I would be still shopping, would be my ready or not, sink or swim and adjust as we go sort of hope, that he runs with it and scheifele beside him if needed. If I’m selling helly, my main target is a buy low bargain young center, and project rhd dman and possibly a tender of some sort depending on offset cap.

The reports of Hellebuyck and NJD are centered around his contract price, but I'm curious what the Jets are asking for in return for Hellebuyck. I bet they are asking for Schmid which probably isn't going over well. lol.

I would even take Daws, I can get over mediocre tending or tending by committee for a few seasons and develop again, what I’m against is a couple gaping holes up the middle, would love a big stud rhd dman, but none of that seems to grow on trees. Tough to truly retool, without a few top 5 picks to truly get back to true contenders, but we will see how we do

At best we’ll get a 5th for Stanley, if Chisholm refuses to resign I like that trade.

Chisholm saw what went on with his Moose D partner and is probably thinking '**** this organization, I'm outta here too.

I was thinking the same when I was making it. I kept thinking it’s the best it has been in years. Hopefully chevy can move schmidt cause heinola would look very good on that pp with perfetti giving the jets 2 dynamic power plays

In my opinion, he’s smart enough that speed won’t be a huge issue. But he definitely needs to bulk up. His two-way game is already solid though.
