Moving one MAYBE two future pieces might be a good way to stay competitive, but trading arguably our top 3 young players in one go is reckless imo.

Send our Top 2 prospects, a 25 year old Top 10 goalie, a 2nd, and a 4th for a 2LHD, 1C, and mediocre backup goalie. Value is there, but the future is rough. I'd honestly be happier after the Swayman trade and not do the CGY deal.

Would rather one of your Center prospects like Kulich/ Savoie/ ostlund. Bruins are about to retool/ rebuild hard so would rather have a young forward who bruins can shape into the Center they want and have a little more say in his development rather then a guy who is already 25 and has figured out his game for the most part and is now just refining his skills

Believe Swayman can't be trade this season if he awarded a salary through the arbitration process.
If the Sabres were concerned about their goaltending this season, they would have signed a UFA....not pay for one via trade.

He can be traded after arbitration. If a team offer sheeted him and the Bruins matched, he wouldn't be allowed to be traded for 1 year.

Comrie and mittelstadt is fine, I can't see adding a first. Not many goalies get firsts, and there is no goalie market to speak of.

That package looks more likely for Hellebuyck then it does Swayman- he’s only played 88 career games, i highly doubt he gets a 1st

Yeah, but in this hypothetical world, the value is leaning Bostons way. Young center breaking out, and a first is worth more than Swayman. So that’s why Buffalo wouldn’t consider this.
