Raymond would be a fantastic addition to the Habs young forward core. No clue as to why the rumors are flowing that the Wings would move him tho

I would very much prefer Yzerman didn't fool the Habs twice with the same trick.
I'm not saying Raymond will be like Drouin, but common...the risk here for Mtl is huge. Admittedly, it's huge for Det too, but...Mtl already lost once on this big gamble and TBL is still laughing
You're sending 4 huge pieces back, 3 of them with great potential upside (Barron, 1st, 2d)

There is only 1 Detroit fan trying to trade him and he's a bit touched. Detroit isn't trading him at all and if they were that isn't very close he is easily the 2nd best player in his draft class.

Zero chance of Steve Yzerman trading Lucas Raymond for Josh Freaking Anderson. Raymond down the road should be a 70-80 point LW/RW Josh Anderson is making 4 x $5,500,000 and is barely more than a 30 points per season winger. Jarmo gave him $5,500,000 based on one 47 point season. No thanks we'll gladly keep Raymond.

Yzerman said he wats to get tougher to play against and they need to score more. I have no idea how that becomes get bigger and sacrifice all your talent to achieve that.

The the Lucas Raymond trades are just one account who claims to be a Wings fan. Handle name NHLLGRW. The guy is a piece of work. There are no rumors of Detroit wanting Anderson or wanting to trade Raymond. There's no possibility of it happening. It's just this one guy stirring up crap.

Update: NVM. Figured it out. Some guy named GhostGM92 traded Lucas Raymond for Josh Anderson straight up. That's our guy lol

Every team could use a PWF in the top 6, detroit doesnt have one. And based on his FA signings (Chiarot, Holl), hes looking to add some grit

29 year old: MTL 3 SEASONS: 190GP 57G 31A 88PTS (making 5.5M x 4 more seasons)

Pretty clear winner here for a team that doesn't have a bevy of playmakers.
