Take Liljegren and Jarvis out and add a first going to Toronto then the Hurricanes might consider that

IF Peeke is so good to be an NHL Dman with his three year contract, Leafs would have to pay more.

I think he's a bottom pair, hard hitting, tough defenceman. He's not a top 4 guy. But I prefer him playing in that spot over Liljegren.

Canes decline. You're not getting Jarvis for Nylander. End of conversation. Don't have the RD depth to move Pesce

Nylander for Pesce straight up is an overpay, even with a 1st. That would be ridiculous.

I'm not surprised if treeliving is trying hard to get a top rd for Nylander straight up, it's obviously a big hole up front but right now do they have a big hole in the top rd spot? What is more important maybe they bring pesce in and sign him to a 6x6 contract and call it a day I might be ok with that..

Jarvis isn't going to get traded for 1 year of Nylander... there would probably be have to added picks but Pesce+1st for Nylander isn't too far off
