I think Lou goes out and does something smart for once, like trade those two & sign Reinhart

Might be worse. Aho Jr overpay. Raddysh would take more to get. They don't want KP

Good lord, the hawks give up the better, younger, less expensive player AND give up the better draft pick as well?!

Easy no for the Blackhawks.

This is way off, Chicago doesn't even respond to that offer. You'd need to offer Chicago a late 1st or a 2nd plus to get Raddysh

Isles are acquiring the rights to a player.

Understood which the Hawks have exclusive rights to, doesn't change the value of Raddysh much at all unless he holds out for arbitration

Nope, it doesn't. Hawks have zero intent of trade Raddysh as he perfectly fits the rebuild, so it will take a 1st to pry him away even as a RFA. This trade offer is awful as such and would never ever happen.

it does change the value actually, that's common hockey knowledge. Why do you think Adam Fox, Justin Schultz, Tony DeAngelo etc. went for so little when they were RFAs.. a 1st for a players rights would never be the case for such a mid level player.

The problem with your AGM and your comments is you're ASSUMING the Hawks want to trade Raddysh; they don't. Because they do not want to trade Raddysh, another team would have to offer a lot to get him. 20 goal scorers, 25 years old, on a $758K contract are highly valuable to every team in the league hands down including the Hawks. It would simply take a 1st, maybe even more, to the Hawks open to the idea of letting him go. This offer you suggested wouldn't even get a response from Chicago, it's that far off
