NSH would decline. This would be NSH last retention spot, and they don't want it tied up for that long.

Petry doesn't waive for the Leafs.

And Jesse Puljujarvi with double hip surgery, Probably isn't playing that much this season. If at all.

why doesn't he though?
I hate the Leafs, but they're one of the closest to his desired area around Michigan. It's closer than Pittsburgh too. If he's only looking for a team close to his home(and he doesn't hate Canadian teams) then I'd think it'd be a prime location for him.

This is a horrible idea. You haven't improved the defence and cost us the best player in any trade (Nylander) so we can get a littler tougher but way worse.
