Really? I'd keep Lafrenière over Kakko. Lafrenière is a power forward and a lot of his game depends on him being out muscle guys. When it comes to building up muscle takes time. But I don't watch the Rangers that much so I could be wrong.

Kakko has a much bigger shot of getting traded than Laf. Laf has a way higher upside than him. Kakko is probably going to become obsolete in a couple years when Perrault comes up. Unless Kakko has a major confidence growth and can play accordingly.

I don't think he does but either way laf is stuck behind panarin and kreider... when panarin flops again this off-season maybe he gets moved and laf can play lw in the top 6 🤞

I'm fine with only Kreider blocking Laf especially if the 1st and 2nd lines are being deployed equally. Plus Kreider will probably have a natural transition down the lineup within a couple years. But the Panarin situation is unacceptable.

Kakko is defensively great so I hope he can find his footing but it just doesn't seem like the mindset is there. I wouldn't be too upset if they packaged him up for an elite proven RW because maybe a change of scenery would benefit him. But he should be getting an extended look on the top line this year so we will see if he can prove himself

Yeah hopefully lavy can get the kids a consistent like 20 games with the same linemates. A couple games kakko had 1st line last year he looked good then got moved down the line up because GG is an idiot
