I mean no offense to Tippett as he's a valuable young player, but I don't think I'd pay that much for him. This is partly due to your ask and partly due to the fact that EDM would have a hard time retaining him.

Flyers would never offer either of these. Neither is enough of a return for either player. Briere wants double that for TK and the Flyers consider Tippett untouchable

If TK is a 1st and Greig, Ottawa won’t be calling anyway. Ottawa was adamant about not trading Greig for Chychrun, so they definitely won’t for TK.

It doesn’t fit the Sens cap and Sens don’t need to add any scorer right now. Next year if both Tarasenko and Kubalik walk? Maybe, but then there will be a lot of options on the UFA market and Sens will have a lot of money to spend. Greig and his cost controlled years are exactly what they need
