It looks fair. Canucks could do it, because they can replace 100 pts for Pettersson, who will ask for 11 mil aav with Suzuki's 80 pts for 8 mil + they get Reinbacher and mid 1st pick in 2024.

So are Suzuki and Reinbacher and whoever comes with that high pick. Besides, the Habs are not at the point where splurging massive on one guy is going to make them contenders. They should stay the course.

In a scenario where Pettersson completely holds VAN hostage, I like this.

I think I'm higher on Suzuki than others though.
