Oilers will pass don’t have the cap space to make that move and even if they did they aren’t giving you a 2nd maybe 3rd but probably only a 4th

i feel like Dvorak is deffo worth a 2nd at 2.4 but if there is a lack of cap space thats understandable. Just though he was an upgrade over Mcleod

For Edmonton they have zero cap space so for money that’s comes in money has to be moved out and I think the oilers would rather Mcleoud and foegle that’s why I think at most they would only give up a 3rd

No, no he isn't. McLeod is better and it's not particularly close.

Now this is an interesting proposal for Zegras, and it would be very hard for PV to turn down. Could also see Zegras being motivated to sign longterm to play with Caufield. Not sure how interested in Barron Anaheim would be with their defensive prospect pool, but this feels like a relatively fair offer for both sides. Something I'm not used to seeing on CF.

Assuming the Habs could sign Zegras to a long term deal at like 8M etc, I'm doing this in a heartbeat. If he still wants only 3-5 year contracts than no. Got to have that security that he's here for the long-term.

not really a upgrade over mcleod and mcleod is younger and faster.
