You gotta wonder what people are thinking when doing these ACGMs

This might be great for Calgary but :

- Sens just paid the price to acquire Chychrun who played 12 games for them, a player they were after for a while and who has ties with Ottawa

- Sens need a top-4 D-man, they do NOT need a Top line Center

- Lindholm is UFA after the season and even if he wants to re-sign in Ottawa, Sens can't afford him

- Value is horrible, not only Lindholm is UFA but Ottawa did NOT want to trade Pinto for Chychrun, they chose to give up their 12th OA pick instead, then you add Chychrun value (12th OA + to 2nds)

- Is Lindholm worth two ~12th OA picks in a good draft and two 2nd round picks?

Avs say no easily. You have severely under-valued Logan O'Connor here. If you did trade for him, he would EASILY crack the bottom 6 of this lineup.

not only would that be absolutely insane for Ottawa to do, but if Pinto would sign a 1x1.5 then this wouldn't be an issue in the first place
