The Devils had better be that 10th team, or else you'd better have a hell of a justification for leaving them out of the top 14

I have them on the close list on the right side is like honorable mention teams only because they have 2 young guys who I need to see how they do this year.

I have Seider there on the close list just because I can't guarantee him and I forgot their other young stud D perform this year, otherwise I would have had them higher for sure.

I don't think NJD defense is good , Holl was the worst add they could make . I have no idea why I get those teams mixed up.I added team 10 it was FLO.

Without looking, name the 7 defensemen on the Devils' NHL roster, then somehow justify putting them outside the top 10

The New Jersey defense features such characters as........Jonas Siegenthaler, Dougie Hamilton, John Marino, Luke Hughes, Colin Miller and Brendan Smith. Personally I would throw them right below Vegas.

I seriously have no idea how I can mix those 2 teams up so bad lol, It was NJD I wanted at 13 not DET .

All the things I said about NJD were meant for DET I swear I have NHL dyslexia just when it comes to those teams, I do it every time , so weird.

I rated BUF higher just because they are a very young core with tons of room to improve.

Just Makar , Toews and Byram is almost enough to win the overall.

How are you so low on NJ? Hamilton put up 74 points this year, Siegenthaler and Marino are both top-tier shutdown defensemen, Hughes in the playoffs looked way better than Graves who he replaced, Bahl looks promising, and Miller is overqualified on the third pair.

Just because quite a few young guys who have not played much in NHL yet, was not positive how they will go this year. Plus there are a lot of really solid built D cores. Again just my opinion I am not trying to say I am an expert in any way.

Quite a few? It's literally just Luke Hughes, and he looked right at home in the playoffs against Carolina

Losing Graves hurts for sure, but yeah.....I stand by that they should be right behind Vegas in the 7-9 range. And when Hughes breaks out they should be top 5.

1. Carolina
2. Vegas

Then the rest.

Florida should be bottom ten.
Nashville should be at least in HM five.

Top 5 in no particular order should be Colorado, Carolina, Calgary, Boston, and Vegas. The 3 New York teams are probably number 6, 7, and 8. After that there is a pretty clear drop off IMO. I would probably take 2 of Nashville, Dallas, LA, or Pittsburgh at 9 and 10.
