Ottawa easily declines. I don't think there's a way to lineup Pinto coming home to the Island - the whole reason that he's not signed yet is Ottawa being strapped for cap space. Guess which other team in this trade is capped out, too? The deal would have to be dollar-for-dollar on both sides, and that's where the problem comes in - even if the Isles put together a package that fits Ottawa's demands, then *they* are right back in the same position: close to the cap with an unsigned Shane Pinto. It just won't line up without a third team getting involved, at the very least.
