Why don’t you like Leo??

My list would be pretty similar but Michkov instead of Leo and Nikishin instead of Mateychuk

Arizona traded up.... with Brad Lambert available.... and took MAVERIC FREAKING LAMOUREUX

As in, you irrationally don't like them, or you have reasons, or you don't like them personally for some reason? Because most of these guys are pretty darn good prospects.

Do you know anything about Lambert other than he used to be a really highly regarded prospect like three years ago?

Some I believe are disgusting human beings, others I have an irrational dislike to, kind of a mix.

I know a few rankings were really high on him (like top 2 pick high on him) despite his poor production. Consensus was he was a top 15-20 pick. He should not have been available at 30.

There's a reason he was available at 30 though. All the skating and puck handling in the world but he has no defensive game, no physical game, his work ethic comes into question too often, his IQ is in question. There are a lot of flaws there that need to be addressed. He is far from a sure thing to make the NHL. Long way to go for him.

Edit: he doesn't just suck. But he is way more raw than Lambert and doesn't have nearly the elite potential

Mav can skate, play physical, and make a nice 1st pass for the breakout. Looks like a solid potential 2nd pair guy, why would they pass that up for a guy who’s production just hasn’t been there in years?

Because production isn't everything. Lambert was great in the WHL this year.

Based on what? He's a more easily projectable NHL player than Lambert, even if the perceived upside isn't there.

Lambert was carried hard in Seattle last year. Every game I turned on to watch Guenther (which was a lot, I keep up on the yotes prospects quite a bit) I was never impressed with Lambert. Mav is and was the better pick

Why the dislike of Haight? What exactly don't you like about him?

Kid's humble, got silky... silky hands, and a underrated hockey IQ. His smaller stature and so-so skating probably hold him back from being a true impact player though. But there's a lot to like there.

I can't seem to understand the Miroshnichenko dislike either. I mean, the Kid's both a cancer survivor AND bolted from Russia the first chance he got. It's hard to dislike him in my book.

I dont dislike them personally or anything they have personally done. It is just something I dislike of their game (irrational I know).
