He doesn't bring enough to do this trade, plus his Cap hit is double that of Okposo.

The Sabers won't give up Okposo he is most likely going to end up being assistant Gm after his career and I don't think the Sabers want to ruin their relationship with him after just resigning him

Sabres are not trading Okposo, out of respect for him. And for what ? Bottom liner on expiring contract ?

The Jets deal is intriguing. I really liked Myers when he was with the jets and the second is a nice add (dont care about the other guys. I also really like Demelo's game and I think the jets could re-sign him

Beauvillier had a 40 point season, he's way better then a bottom liner.. lol

I'm not as enamored with okposo as a lot of Sabres fans are, but one thing is clear, the team could have cut ties with him altogether, but they brought him back for one more year to provide leadership. They aren't moving him for beauvillier.

For Sabres, he would play 4th line minutes. Too much talent all around.

Idk about that, he'd probably slot in on the 3rd line in Buffalo, Sabres aren't trading Okposo but don't think Beauvillier would be buried on line 4 in Buffalo either.
