I do find fleecing the Ducks and especially Canucks rather compelling, though I'm not sure they feel the same way.

Not even close for Pettersson. Start with Dach + Reinbacher + 2024 1st if you want a chance at him

Canucks easily decline. The 1st is a start, but none of the other pieces would be of any interest or hold much of any value to them.

Is the goal to have an entire top 6 of Cs or something? Need to move out Anderson and Campbell to make space to sign Draisaitl in 2 years.

they're rebuilding and have a fantastic prospect pool. vancouver has been mediocre for 10 years. i'd rather be bad with a vision than be mid with no future

Good luck convincing Pettersson to sign below market value on a bottom 5 team on a high tax city with some of the most media/fan pressure in the league because the habs have a “fantastic prospect pool”

BC has a PST and GST of 12% while Quebec's is 14%, a marginal increase with a very similar crazed media/fan pressure.

vancouver has higher taxes than montreal
