You would probably have to give Toronto a 6th and Vancouver either a 2nd or 3rd but pretty solid trades otherwise

Give the pick to someone else to retain and will do Garland for Ceci.

The Leafs wouldn't do this, but because they'd be at the same cap with one less d-man. They would need to shed an above 2million dollar forward and I don't think Edmonton's hurting for middle 6 forwards.

I wouldn't do the Bouchard deal from either end, though the value is probably close. Leafs' defensive depth is a strength. Bouchard is a #1 D putting up big numbers for 3.9 the next 2 years.

Also Garland for Ceci is probably as good as Vancouver can do - Ceci isn't perfect but he would do far better in Myers's current ice time than Myers does

Leafs would have 5 D and $477k in cap space to field a rosetr 1 man short and now cap space to add anyone.

Plus... If EDM pulls the trigger on this... instant GM firing - Bouchard>>>>> than Lilly+McCabe

Canucks decline. The point of moving Garland is to clear cap space, retaining and taking back Ceci doesn't accomplish that goal, so there's no point in doing the deal.

Leafs defensive depth is not a strength it’s actually there weakness if anything lmao and also the leafs would be extremely dumb to not accept that offer but there isn’t any chance edmonton would even consider

Actually according to insiders Vancouver is looking to move Garland for a cheaper RHD to clear cap space. They are willing to retain some of his money to make a deal so long as it still helps them clear cap space. Their goal is to clear cap space, so if the deal doesn’t do that for them then they won’t be moving Garland.
