I think it's kind of a square peg, round hole with the POJ for Brannstrom trades I've been seeing. Ottawa's able to clear the Pinto money with Kubalik's trade, they don't need to downgrade on Brannstrom too.

Who's the 3C then? If we separate Barzal and Horvat we're just back to square one where we have a great 1C without a top line winger. Pageau is more valuable to us than people think

This is "acceptable" for Ottawa

I mean Brannstrom for POJ straight up would be no but this move :

- allows to sign Pinto
- you get 2 picks + good AHL player
- could lit more fire under the Jos brother's asses
