Could get more from the leafs for tanev

If I'm selling Hanifin and Lindholm, I need to be picking three times in the first round of 2024.

I think Boston can and will get outbid. I like Carolina or Columbus as Lindholm destinations.

For Tanev, I'd ask for a 2 and 3, or 2 and 4. Same with Zadorov

Other than maybe Greer for a 4th, none of these happen

As much as I would love to get Lindholm at that price, Calgary can probably do better for him.

With the Kings current goaltending situation, they're not going to be willing to move a young goaltending prospect. Portillo will be the only goaltender in the Kings organization after this season. Everyone else with a NHL contract will be a UFA.

Personally, I just don’t see a reason why the Canes do this. I mean, with how loaded their wings already are there just isn’t enough space to add another winger, especially one that isn’t likely to outplay Noesen. Nothing wrong with Greer, just that he would be a press box staple with Lemiuex in Carolina.
