Dumping Campbell's contract is gonna cost at least a first and a second on it's own, even with 1 mil in retention. There is no realistic scenario where the Oilers make a trade that dumps him and brings back a good goalie without giving up multiple unprotected firsts.

Ullmark for RNH the only deal I see that works for both teams.

My perspective is goaltending is the biggest strength of the Bruins right now. They take risks with their defenders and depend on their goalies to compensate. Ullmark came into Boston a raw player dependent on his athleticism and has been trained into being as fundamentally sound a goalie as there is in the league while maintaining the skill set that made him a solid goaltender on a team with porous defense in Buffalo

Im fine taking the next two years and letting him take the big pay day from another team afterwards. Unless Brandon Bussi is making it glaringly obvious he deserves the shot (he had one bad game that is depressing his numbers) or a team is offering a mechanism to secure a premium forward, I see Ullmark staying in Boston.
