Bouchard is not what Toronto needs and I doubt EDM trades him

Zadorov is not a top 4 Dman. If price is right fine for third pair but that aint it

Wow garbage players and late 1st for a team that's in win now mode, No way in hell does Ken Holland take that joke of an offer for Evan Bouchard.

Leafs decline the oilers it’s a fair offer but we don’t want to be running on fumes for the next two years

That's a piss poor offer that EDM easily declines.

He can absolutely handle the minutes. Flames decline that offer pretty quick though

So Edmonton takes on $1.1 million of additional cap, which they don't have room for, in exchange for a far worse defenseman and a backup goalie? The firsts won't become actual NHL players for couple of seasons at least, which is VERY poor compensation for losing a good-quality defenseman (on the cusp of hitting the 200-game mark) now.

Intergalactically HORRIBLE idea for the Oilers. The only circumstance under which this idea might arguably make some sense is if this deal happened at the trade deadline and Edmonton were mathematically out of the playoffs.

Even if they're out of the playoffs there's no way they'd give up Bouchard for or two late firsts that won't be NHL'ers for years IF EVER.
Bouchard is a 24 year old 10th OA RHD and is the only blue liner putting up points for them.

Zadorov is McCabe but can actually clear the front of the net. Neither are top 4 on a true contender.

The 3 differences between the two is 1. one is 6'6 the other isnt 2. Zadorov is slower and 3. McCabe is a 2nd pair guy on a contender Zadorov is not.

Thats really it

McCabe is a 2nd pair guy as seen on two other teams besides Toronto. Idk how you cant comprehend that the evidence is there

You can say ABC but its all silly as at present the evidence by hockey analysts shows McCabe is a 2nd pair guy even most former players say the same thing

As said before cant see it cant help yah

Zadorov meanwhile nice third pair big guy who lays people out and is a net front guy whose 40/60 in battles. Often somehow losing at times

In general after watching Zadorov vs. OTT would rather have McCabe

Both bad teams. Lots of guys are too 4 defenceman on bad teams, and in most cases that is the reason those teams aren't contenders. McCabe is an NHL player and maybe an above average one but he's in any way a high end player. He's a depth guy on a good team. He isn't a shutdown defenceman on a contender because he isn't good enough. It's plain to the eye and I just can't understand why some just refuse to see it.
