Kakko's still a good value player. His lack of production also isn't all on him since Kreider and Mika have been even worse than him at 5v5 but they get the benefit of the doubt cause theyre vets who put up lots of points on the PP. As a Rangers fan I wouldn't be opposed to trading him, but it makes no sense to do that when his value's the lowest its ever been and his next contract should be pretty good value. He's been dissappointing but it's not like he's useless.

Because he needs to be at least 27 years of age on June 30 of his contract expiry year or accrue 7 seasons of at least 40 games each season.
