Montréal has little interest in Beauvillier unless we are trading him as a cap dump not going to move Monahan and Kovacevic for Beau + 2nd.

thats an easy no from mtl, Monahan should yield a first on his own, if they decide to move him over resigning, and Beauvillier doesnt bring anything for them.

Habs don't want Beauvillier for free. They don't pick him up on waivers.

And Monahan fetches more than a 2nd round pick.

This is an easy no for Chicago, they are not using up their final two retention spots just so they can acquire a regressing prospect.

Yeah. That was my thought exactly. I might be interested in snagging Podz as a reclamation project, but those retention slots, alone, are worth more than him, at this point.
