No it's not, it's the speculated price and it's totally out to lunch. 1 year of Marleau cost the Leafs a 1st how are 3 additional years of a much worse player only worth a 3rd?! Like it's only common sense

Oil in big trouble; who knows the solution but if I were Jackson - fire Holland yesterday and try to trade for a goalie. You’ll have to overpay but no choice, can’t miss the playoffs and waste a whole year with Draisaitl and McJesus

No pacific teams in the playoff hunt are going to make a move with Edmonton. Something isn’t working, and the longer that goes on, the better their chances of being a playoff team.

Allen at half retained should be worth a 2nd on it's own.

Monahan could grab a late first I suppose

Wait, what do you think Allen and Monahan are worth?

McLeod (solid bottom-6 forward) and a 2nd is actually a good return for 2 UFAs, one of which is a goalie and don't hold much value if any

I heard the Seravalli piece, that's not the "reported" price, its what he speculates it may cost. Take from that what you will.

I'm skeptical that Arizona is a place Campbell would ok a trade to or that Arizona wants to deal with the real money of his contract, although it fits their MO.

Don't really see Montreal considering that trade given their needs and preferences.

Montreal is working on re-signing Montembault, they don't actually want to trade him, Monahan is a center who can play anywhere in a line-up and those rentals tend to return a lot, and Montreal (like the vast majority of sellers) likely isn't really looking for a "solid bottom-6 forward".

burnout is spot on. mtl looking for youth, picks, trading vets.
why tarde monty, or math?

monahan can go somewhere but hell get back a lot if healthy. 1+ good prospect AT LEAST

entirely possible he comes back to mtl in offseason to resign longer term.

Ok but it's Jake Allen in this ACGM...
