Hawks need more to take Campbell and won’t be sending assets back.

Credit where it's due, a lot of the time when people do stuff this extravagent it somehow turns into 1 team giving up a 6th rounder and a 4th line bum and somehow ending up with connor mcdavid at the end of it, but this feels relatively even. I'm sure there could be a bit of nitpicking here and there, probably to do with Josh Anderson and his contract, but this is interesting and there isn't some team getting totally hosed or the opposite, on first glace at least. Think the bigger point of contention will be that the Hawks will need more to take Campbell and don't give up the 3rd. Perry is impossible to really say because of whatever the hell is going on with him right now

Anderson is just as bad of a contract as Campbell, which leaves Holloway, Bourgault, McLeod, a 1st and 2nd for Allen, Norlinder, and Kapanen

it's an opinion but I disagree! You guys always blast other players wildly and it's pure emotion, not a good judgment. Can you see a speedy hitter like McGod and bring some needed help? Allen is way better than all your goalies and can stop the D-core fall. Norlinder and Kapanen are second-zone prospects, but give you a chance to grab a good youngster and hope one of them blossoms ( Kapanen is that kind of kid to us so far ).

It's a loss-loss-loss deal but those subtractions help chemistry in all those teams

That doesn't pay for Campbell let alone get anything in return

It's always "everyone else is wrong and coming purely from emotion" with you. We've been over this before. The only reason to pay a fortune to dump Campbell is to gain cap flexibility and by including Anderson as part of the return, you completely counter the point of spending to move him.

If that was all it took for CHI to take Campbell, we'd just skip the middleman and then send something like a 2nd for a goalie like Allen and, in doing so, save ourselves from losing McLeod & Holloway and from committing 5.5mil for 3 more years to Anderson.

At no point did I diminish any of the players involved. I made a case for why they don't fit into a trade of this type from EDM's perspective. Even if I take your position and grant you that stating that "I think Allen is worth around a 2nd" or that "Anderson doesn't fit what EDM would need/want" implies that I'm diminishing them, what exactly do you think your proposal did about EDM's players (and picks)?

That does not pay for a Campbell dump. And no "expert" is saying that.

Norlinder and Trudea Swap(Trudeaus better but more well rounded while Norlinder is a PP QB and not much else)

I mean didnt they buy out Suter, Parise, Perry , Duchene ,Bailey,Wheeler,Yammamoto,and DeAngelo because they couldnt move their contracts cheap enough?
It would cost WAY more then that return based on this years trends alone
