Description

Looking for a stud top4 stay-at-home guy to be insurance if DeMelo gets injured. I've decided being right-handed is a must and having an extra year left on the contract is preferred.

Looking for a trading partner who wants a bundle of picks, prospects, and fringe roster players.

From the roster: I'm okay parting ways with Schmidt, Stanley, and Chisholm (not that they have any trade value). I think everyone else on the roster is untouchable tbh.

Prospects: Lucius is the one I would like the other team to take. If it was for a young superstar RHD then I'd be okay giving away pretty much anyone but Lambert and Barlow.

Draft picks: all on the table, feel free to grab an extra 7th on your way out.

I know it's cold in Winnipeg, but all NTC's are assumed to be waived.

Andersson isn't available but Tanev could be had for a 2024 1st and Lucius. In fact Calgary would probably settle for a lesser prospect or Lucius and a 2nd/3rd. A young right shot forward with decent size who can play center (I assume he can play wing too) meets Calgary's needs very well.

The Kings are currently 2 points behind lead for the league and undefeated on the road, PLD also had 2 points today, Kings worse goalie (Copley) just had a shutout. I’m not asking capfriendly posters to watch Kings games just look at how they are playing.

I was upset until news of the trade got online. IDK how Chevy managed to get that kind of return, but he made us a better team. Still a shame to see him go, it was nice to have a big physical 2C for a while.

The Kings have made the playoffs with some of the worse goaltending last season without PLD. Right now Vegas odds say there is more a chance of the Jets missing the playoffs than the Kings. It could happen, sure, but it’s like saying the Oilers will be buyers in two months. Possible, but unlikely.

You want someone like Andersson or Pulock then you better be willing to trade someone you don't want to trade on your list there. I doubt Larsson is available and I can pretty much guarantee Pesce or Roy won't be available. Tanev would be alright if he signs a reasonable extension but he isn't a long term fix.

They're two points out of a Wildcard spot. They're not blowing it up.

Yes, they may trade pending UFA's though.

I'd trade Hanifin and Tanev. As part of the return get a young defenseman who can play on the 3rd pair and keep Zadorov to pair with Andersson or Weegar. Zadorov will be happy with his minutes then.

Assets from Hanifin and Tanev can be used in a trade for the top 6 goal scoring right shot forward we need. I'd move Dillon Dube too.
