I have given up on the Swayman dream. Boston will never want to move on from him, we will probably need to get a goalie from a bad team. Seems like even those teams dont want to move a goalie either. Its a real tough scene here in NJ, and it was always going to be that way. We needed a goalie, everybody knew that, but no moves were made and now we are struggling.

The reality is I don’t think Boston trades Swayman for Mercer AND I know that NJ fans would rather trade this package vs Mercer.

Boston won't solve NJ's goalie problem without an overpayment and I don't think this does it for Boston.

Mercer probably has more value than Swayman.

Just look at the contracts they’re expected to command, and that’s with mercers contract buying 2 extra years of RFA. Shows that a merger type asset has more league wide value than Swayman type asset

Makes absolutely no sense for Boston to trade Sway. Like Chicago trading Bedard level
