I could see the Kings wanting an upgrade at LW, retain full 50% on jake though.

Whether you can get both prospects.. not sure. May be one or the other. I do feel kings are in a bit of win now given Doughty and kops age.

I know the canes were the other team on EKs list, but I doubt they do that.

The Hurricanes wouldn't trade for EK but we would trade for Ned if your offering... he helps temporarily fixes our goaltending problems

The Kings don't need a LW upgrade. They have Byfield, Fiala, and Moore.

They arguably could use a RW upgrade (depending on Arvidsson's timeline), but they're not giving up their best LHD prospect, their best C prospect, and a 1st round pick for a rental.

They have no interest in re-signing Guentzel either because they already have Fiala making top line money, and Kempe will need a huge raise on his next contract in a few years.

The Kings have the highest per-game goals-for average (infinitesimally) in the League, so they won't be interested in attempting to upgrade at forward in general or renting Jake Guentzel in particular. I can see them being interested in Tristan Jarry, though, if Cam Talbot gets injured (God forbid!).

I personally think that's overselling Pinelli a bit, but I also still consider Turcotte a prospect.

Agree with the rest of your comment though. Fact of the matter is it's too much for a rental that fills a position the Kings don't need help with.

I don't consider Turcotte a center prospect any longer. Considering who the Kings have, he's a LW prospect now.
