Interesting but we have to not forget that we are in rebuild. We shouldn't trade or high prospect like Roy for Zegras.

I agree, and honestly, the biggest blocker for this imo is the fact that this does not include Dach and our 2024 1st. This will kind of clog the top 6 with a bunch of expensive forwards, some whom will not get their proper minutes. Having Slaf, Suzuki, Dach, 2024 1st, Caufield is already a hefty top 6

I dont like it a on a few fronts.

1. That cgy pick isnt going anywhere until we know what it is. The pick alone could be wprth more than zegras.

2. Theres no way we are trading a francophone high end prospect. Its not happening.

3. If we are putting out that kind of assets no offense but I dont want zegras. This screams drouin 2.0 where a talented but aggressively flawed player gets traded for a big return. He has to do spme seripus wprk on his game to be anything that a playoff team would be looking for.

I saw Roy's name so it's a immediate no! Not that they should give anything for an overpaid, one dimensional player that will walk in 3-4 years.
