A top ten pick and Levi? I'm not sure if there are any goalies I would move that for. If saros signs for 5 years at like 5 per, by all means call, but for anybody else, kick rocks.

No, I’m not a troll. Lol. I’m ’suggesting’ this because we need a legit #1, it’s been the only thing we’ve been missing, and what do we need another 1st rounder for. We have a so many young’s studs, and young prospects. We don’t need another pick. I’m getting sick of the picks. We need a legit #1. right now, and we’ve got two young goalies, that have sucked, and I’m ok giving up Levi, who has been **** so far, and we need to win now.

What has Elvis done over the past few years for you to claim he is a legit #1?

I agree that there's talent, and there's more on the way, but there's some flaws in the roster in front of the goalies- poor defensive awareness from the defense and the centers leads to far too many high danger chances, the power play has barely produced at all, and they could stand to add some size and grit throughout the roster. Look at ullmark, he was decent here, but he goes to a vet team that pays attention to detail and he wins a vezina. I'm not against bringing in a goalie, but a top ten first and an "A" goalie prospect is far far above market for all but the very best.

Buffalo isn’t a team with a good enough team defence to ensure he’s a “true #1” over there. IMO, much better defence and consistency of effort (coaching) will be needed first before risking to take on a 5.4M goalie who was a buy out candidate only 1 year ago. Have you see his numbers last year? What if he goes right back to that when he joins Buffalo? There are no guarantees.
