How did Hanifin end up being the youngest player in the trade?

Also, why do we get 2 career AHLers for the downgrade? Letting Hanifin walk to free agency would leave the Flames with more assets than that trade.

Anaheim wouldn't give you Calle Clang for that stew. Who are you trying to kid? Husso has been worse than Gibson in each of the last two seasons (although not by much) and the other two are virtually worthless.

The Ducks won't trade John Gibson unless they get a top-6 RW, a top-4 RhD or a 2024 first-round draft pick -- they have no incentive whatsoever to move him without getting a beneficial return. If you don't think that he's worth at least one of those assets, nobody's making you waste your time calling us.
