MTL declines, Schneider is good but MTL doesn't need more D and Xhekaj will be a big part of the future

Schneider for Monahan seems rather shortsighted. I say do it.

I can see Rangers getting Henrique, not so much on Monahan.

Schneider trade is just silly for the Rangers. Monahan could be had for draft picks and no need for Xhekaj.

how many points does 34 year old Henrique have in the playoffs since his rookie year in the Playoffs when it matters?
Look at his Playoff stats then just trade for any frigging scrub who can win Faceoffs and he's as likely to help you as Henrique .
Henrique wont pay the price to make the play or go to the dirty area's
All one has to do is intimidate him to make him divert to go around them rather then through them

Curious what the reasoning is to trade Schneider. Seems like the type of guy you’d like to lock up cheap.

He hasn't become a hybrid of Bobby Orr and Scott Stevens yet, so naturally trade him at 22. There is no good reason.

I think Schneider has looked worse each year after his rookie year. As a Rangers fan, I like the kid however he has been worse each year instead of better IMO. I also think you need to give to get and would love to see Xhekaj in the playoffs.

I think if it costs a 1st for Henrique, they would look elsewhere. Maybe a conditional 2nd similar to the Copp trade (1st if they make it to Eastern conference final)

I was trying to hold onto our 1st rd picks. In this ACGM scenario, if we lost Schneider, we would need another RD, insert Xhekaj.
