Being a "former first" means nothing. Now what did the Habs have to give up to obtain a likely never to be NHLer. Wish the injured filled Turcotte all the best.

My thought is I wonder who the Kings were asking for. It's kinda hard to decide whether you'd decline an offer if you don't know who the offer was for.

I didn't see it say the Kings made an offer?
Only that the Habs received an offer of a former 1st round pick with 2nd line potential for Xhekaj. It didn't specify which team the offer came from.
They declined.

Rumors are rumors but a former 1st rounder doesn't necessarily mean something good.
