You need quality, not quantity. I genuinely don’t know if Toronto has the pieces for both Jiricek and Jenner. Jiricek starts with Knies+ (but can’t see CBJ moving him)

This site has been exhausting this year. First the 3rd OA ****ty proposals, then Sillinger, then KJ, then Boone, then Voronkov, then Boone, then Chinakhov, then Provorov, then Boone, then Laine, then Boone, then Jiricek, and then more Boone. I wish Jarmo would just get fired already so someone with a clear idea of how to move forward can take over the team from this floundering front office.

Same old same old: need quality over quantity, these guys are untouchable, etc. etc.

Boone = 1st, 2nd, Cowan/Minten
Jiricek = 1st, Knies, Cowan/Minten, Niemela...and likely more, considering we don't have a 1RD replacement in the pipeline and none of those pieces are that, either. He's a top-6 pick in a strong draft who's actually performing like a top-6 pick in a strong draft, and still raw with tons of upside.

If you want a 2C and 1RD for the next 3 years at a combined $4.7M, it's going to really really really hurt.

Not to mention Guddy who when played in the proper spot is living up to and in some ways surpassing his contract value. Chicago just resigned a big locker room guy for lots and lost of american dollars, Guddy is in the same boat.

Take out all the spare parts and send them Marner instead. When you want the team's top leader and top prospect, you'll have to pay.

Columbus sure has a lot of high value guys for such a low team in the standings. The way Columbus fans talk you would think they were 2nd in there division.

High-end prospect Jiricek + the exact type of player TOR needs in Jenner for Marner is fair value. I know you wouldn't want to do it based on your bio, but if you want value, you have to give up value.
