It's a lot but he's also proven that he can be elite when played with good players, it could be a steal, ideally there would be less term but it gets added to keep the AAV down

It does seem high, but reports were looking Lindholm wanting in the 9 million range. Hanifin at 7.5 plus. Getting Lindholm at 7 per night just be what is needed if you want it. I get the worry, this year his production is way down. Which raises eyebrows.

Hawks decline. Take out the 2nd going to Vancouver and the Hawks probably accept .

yeah i think lindholm will probably get more than 7aav. he has scored 40 in the past. however, his career average is a mid 60's point player. he is going to be 30 in decemeber. he plays more of a ocmplimentary style than a playdriving style.

IMO, not the profil of a player you commit huge dollars or long term to. it reeks of desperation. i think a team like vancouver is better off betting on lower cost players to surround petey and miller.

if they do sign an older player to a huge deal, youd liek that player to be able to carry play on their own and be elite all the time, not only when playing beside other elite players (guentzel maybe)

If Vancouver fans really want a 2nd for kuzmenko they're gonna have to pick a different buyer. Hawks won't be giving up a 2nd for any player let alone one that's having a bad season.

It does somewhat reek of desperation but VAN really wants a quality 2C so the Lotto Line can stay together, plus Lindholm is Swedish and we all know how much of a hardon Alvin has for Swedish players

Chicago is not getting rid of their draft picks for a player with a massive contract.

That 2nd round pick you’re proposing the Hawks trade for Kuzmenko could be the 33rd pick in the draft so that is definitely not happening.
