Pretty solid offer for a guy who's not exactly having a great season in Elias Lindholm.

I like it as a Nucks Fan. Gave up our most surplus prospect in Brzustewicz, Kuzy hasnt fit this year, late 1st, jurmo has little value and a 4th.

Lindholm could be a nice fit with Petey.

I'm pretty happy with the return on this one. Hopefully Kuzmenko finds his game here.

Just curious, who got the scoop on this story? Or did anyone? I was out and about doing stuff and just got back to find the trade went down.

Like your chances of finally winning a Cup just went up?

I believe Weekes had it first, or at least I saw his tweets about it first

My guess is it’ll either be the earliest or latest of the two 4ths the Canucks own

So much for everyone on here being adamant Flames had no interest in Luzmenko and saying Canucks would have to give up Hoglander/Podkolzin + Lekkarimaki/Wallinder + 1st. Or those saying Canucks would have to pay to dump Kuzmenko. As I had been posting, Horvat trade was the fair comparable.

It’s a good trade for both teams.

Lindholm provides a solid 2C and Kuzmenko was never going to recover his value in Vancouver, but maybe stands a chance at doing so in Calgary. If you aren’t giving him defensive responsibility, he should put up counting numbers

Brzustewicz is a good offensive defenseman prospect who is putting good stats up in his overage year. You expect 19 year olds with NHL possibilities to dominate in the OHL, so it’s a good sign. The next step to the AHL, which should be the next test. Give me a 3rd rounder whose produced over a second rounder in a weaker draft

The first is the primary value.
