theres almost no way this trade is happening without a 1st or equivalent, Hughes doesnt need to move him now so if he is he got his asking price. Regardless of what you think of Monahan, after the lindholm deal its going to be something similar for monahan or the habs would be holding on till the deadline.

In all fairness, he cheers for a team that wastes 1rst round picks on a yearly basis. Hard for a Toronto fan to really get a feel for what a first rounder is worth when they are needed to dump bad contracts, or pick up trade deadline picks that can't stay healthy.
