Devils trade makes no sense for both teams. Why do you think Pitts wants to trade for vitek and keep him for another year? Also Graves has a full NTC so good luck trading him.

Wings might sign Guetnzel in the off season, but expecting such a one sided premium...in the very rare sign and trade.....won't be happening

Don't see Detroit trading for Guentzel, doesn't really fit for the future as we can't resign him. Team is not good enough to be big game hunting.

Graves NTC is only 12 teams this year and next year. Everything else I agree with though

1st+Vanacek for Graves at 3 mill+Ned

yeah the pens aren't retaining on graves for years.
On top of it, they will get a 1st if they move him.
You got a league where Jack Johnson still has a job and multiple teams deploying AHL defenseman and you act like they have no value.
Defensemen are the most over valued asset in the league.
If you want to undervalue an asset try a goalie
