and there is no way Winnipeg is trading Barlow, and Pionk for a LSD when they have too few RSD.

1. Tuch isn't for sale
2. That's not enough value
3. You offered up nothing the Sabres need

WPG would likely have to offer their 1st + Stanley for Tanev 50% Retained and given there’s 12+ Teams inquiring about his services, that may not be enough either. It’ll take a Ben Chiarot type return for Chris Tanev

Barlow is a great piece for Ottawa, but I'm not personally a Lucius believer (though obviously has talent and pedigree as a high pick), and Pionk basically kills this deal dead for me. He's not good, he just shoots right and plays big minutes

Not a fan of Pionk, he is a bit one dimensional but since he is a RHD he can likely be easily moved. Barlow is the enticing piece for me.
