I wasn’t comparing them lol. Just tired of all the Toronto fans thinking we want a guy y’all are looking to move to get an upgrade. Stars are looking for an upgrade too. Not another Suter

The team he’s on has no need to make cap space. He is literally, by definition, not a cap dump.

Is he worth anything in trade? No, certainly not. But Columbus has plenty of cap space. They need his roster spot more than anything.

sure, and the leafs are looking for a top 4 defender not a 7th defender who makes almost 3 mill. He's doing the leafs as dirty as he is any other team here

I def agree. I’ve seen several stars fans wanting Peeke to play top pair with Miro. Just want to smack them in the nose with a newspaper and say no lol

people are still really worked up because Peeke had like half a decent season in a small role, happens all the time with any tall 'physical' defender here. There's like 3 agms a day where people wanna trade for Lybushkin or Schenn because they had less than 10 good games being carried by Rielly

Well Nashville isn't trading Fabbro. Peeke is bad.....so the exchange of Dmen doesn't make the Leafs any better. So really what's the point.

you actively think that a team is going to give a 3rd round pick for your cap dump? that's a thing that you think will happen?

Schenn is a decent d-man still. ngl, I have been disappointed with his performance in Nashville, but he was arguably your 2nd best d-man(behind Rielly) in the playoffs.

like i said, he had 10 total good games with the leafs and most of them happened in the playoffs. Good for him, but he was never half as good as people pretend he was and he's showing that now. And considering how poorly half the leafs roster was during the playoffs being 'one of their best' doesnt mean anything.
Schenn has been below replacement level since like game 2 against the panthers and his entire nashville career, now he has a boat anchor contract and is on the dark side of 34. good previously is never a guarentee of good now or in the future, especially for guys like schenn.
